18 Feb The NEW McLaren 650S
YEP! The McCalren 650S, 641bhp, 207mph supercar has been leaked before the Geneva Auto Show!
McClaren’s company has revealed the details of the model exemplifying P1-inspired designs, with LED headlamps, integrated front splitter, GT3-inspired back bumper and a set of door blades that remains a signature piece consistent to the 12C. Aerodynamically, the 650S looking to be more agile for more precision driving with 25 horse power over the 12C.
The 650S performing slightly more than the 12C at 0-62mph in 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 207mph. However, stats have shown this 650S is still ahead of the charts in comparison to the Ferrari 458. With the larger air intakes in the front and the rear tire area, the cooling system has definitely improved. Another plus is the carbon ceramic brakes are standard! 650S has the same drag coefficient as the 12C yet with a 24 percent increase in downforce at 150 mph.
This baby will make up for a hefty price tag at about $335,000.00+!
Since this information was strategically leaked (in my opinion) there is no set date on which the McClaren 650S will be available in the US Market. Great job McClaren and hopefully Signature Car Collection will have one on the fleet in the near future!
